The debt collector leaves up to 4 voicemails a day stating that there is a lawsuit against us. When contacting they demand an address and social to serve us papers. They have stated that a case number will not be assigned until the papers are served which is false and misleading tactics. They make threats to call employers 100 's of times a day to get you fired and to call family members in a similar fashion until we settle with them or the family member pays the debt. The debt they are attempting to collect on has been paid for over 9 years and the account has been closed for the same amount of time. They ignore the cease and desist and have made threats to have someone waiting for us when we get home.
