When contacted by Carmen V. Porreca P.C. on - -, 2016, my husband who is an authorized third party was advised not to send in a letter disputing the charges when he stated I wanted to dispute it. He was advised if we wanted to dispute the charges we should allow for the charges to go to court and wait to be served by a sheriff. I never received any notice or anything advising I have the right to dispute the debt. When contacted by - from Carmen V. Porreca P.C. on - -, 2016 I told her that I had received letters from law firms advising my check was to be garnished to due this debt. She told me that it was not true and that it 's just what they do as they are like ambulance chasers. She said I am worrying for nothing. As the call progressed she refused to let me speak to a supervisor and when asked if calls are recorded she stated '' Yes and they will see how mean you are ''. When I still pressed for her supervisor she hung up. I called back and she answered. After continuing to ask for her supervisor 's information she finally gave the name of - - and advised she was not sure when she would came in but she would call me when she does. No call was ever received. I told her I would like the bills and I will try to look into them with an attorney she advised it would not matter it wo n't stop them from collecting.
