Wells Fargo & Company Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease California
I bought a - - from a business in - - CA - -/-/2016. Part of the purchase I paid with my VISA & the remainder $1600.00 I used the store 's promo offer of 6 months same as cash - no interest. I only financed $1600.00. This financing is through Wells Fargo Home Furnishing - my statements say ( - ). Someone in this string of financing has been allowed to ADD money to my account when I only filed documentation to finance $1600.00. At this point - I feel Wells Fargo should NEVER have allowed the business access to my account to make such an entry or maybe Wells Fargo made the addition - that is unclear. & if Wells Fargo DID allow access, they only have paperwork supporting my $1600.00 financing purchase. Today my bill states I owe $2000.00 & I have paid $40.00 each month times 3 months or $120.00 towards my $1600.00 bill, making my total due = $1400.00. I have talked to both the business ( the business has lost my paperwork - seriously - lost it - - - ) & Wells Fargo ( - different agents - & - on -/-/2016 ) - my consumer recourse is to submit a dispute which could take up to 90 days to resolve. Really? How is any business allowed to debit me in anyway without the proper paperwork? Wells Fargo is my target of this complaint. In 90 days my whole financing agreement will be over. The fact is, there should not be an " open-ended '' account by any organization allowing for money to be debited in a consumer 's name. Period.
