Closing/Cancelling account Georgia
i had received a letter from American express requesting financial information. I faxed that info to them at - and have a fax confirmation page. they say they never received it. then they abruptly cancel my card. I called them and they told me it was sent to collections. so I did n't pay my bill. I talked to the collection agency about this and they said they cant do nothing about it. seems like a lie to me how can they alt out tell me they did n't get the info and I have a fax confirmation I told them I would pay it in full and they need to reinstate my account and remove the credit reporting since it was their error nothing back nor return calls seems like the planned on doing this on purpose
