When I signed up for a Leading - membership I told the representative that I might not be able to continue coming if I got a job. She said, " That 's alright, you can cancel if that happens. '' So, I went to the health club for about a month before I got a full time job and could no longer go. I continued paying the fees for about five months, but after that I just could see any purpose in doing so since I could not utilize the club. So, I called to cancel and was informed that I would have to pay off the balance. This is not what I was told I repeatedly tried to work something out with them, but they refused. This occurred five years ago. I want to file a complaint against them at this point. It 's negative option billing. I trusted what I was told and then they change the terms.
