Non-federal student loan Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received Washington

Not only did I not recieve any notice to dispute, after I paid the FULL amount to Amsher collection agency they told me it would be taken off my credit report in a couple of weeks, or I can write a letter to there supervisor and request for it to be taken off. It 's my understanding after I paid the debt ( which was wrongly in collections because of change of address and no phone calls or anything about the debt until Amsher took it over ) that it should be off my credit report in atleast 2 months. It has now been 3 months and I have contacted them several times for them to take it off while it still says " Open '' on my report. They keep telling me I have to write a letter to the supervisor to have it taken off.
