I obtained a Vehicle loan from West Lake Financial Services for about $4800.00. I had the vehicle in my passion for about 28 days. I was involved in a - in which my insurance company deemed was a total loss. Insurance company only paid about $4400.00 as they determined that was actual value. I had GAP insurance with West Lake Financial and was told it would cover the rest of the loan which it did. On or about - -, 2016 I made a call to Westlake Financial to inquire what my Balance was. I was told over the phone that I had a - balance. For whatever reason West Lake reported a $71.00 Charge OFF on my credit report. West Lake never notified me I owed them this money therefore denying me any opportunity to make the needed payment. This Charge Off caused a drastic drop of my Credit Score. It went so low that my main Credit line thru - was closed. I lost my $10000.00 credit line!
