Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay Ohio
I had a loan with DiTech Financial that went into collections in 2015. They have sent this loan to a collection agency that now reports this account as a collection account on my credit report as a separate listing. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, - different companies can not report the same debt on one 's credit report simultaneously. That is double jeopardy. Since DiTech Financial has transferred this debt to a new entity that is now reporting it on my credit report, DiTech financial should either delete their listing, or update their listing to show the account has been transferred. Currently, DiTech is reporting that my loan with them is actively past due, while the company they transferred it to is reporting it as a collection account.
