I received a collection notice for $1500.00 from Simon 's agency Inc. dated -/-/-. On -/-/- I notified them that we are disputing the validity of this debt as : 1.We were billed for services not performed. 2.We did not authorize some of the services that were performed. 3.Some of these charges are for fraudulent billing. Simon 's agency has been notified about this. 4. My insurance and I have already paid them about $1600.00 Instead of providing us the requested info Simon 's Agency reported this amount to credit bureaus - as " unpaid '' and " collection '' in an attempt to damage my credit report. When I wrote back to them they informed me that they have reported the account as disputed. However, none of the credit reporting agencies is reporting the account as disputed. In spite of my repeated requests Simon 's Agency has not properly investigated this matter and has not provided us the information that we requested. I last wrote to them on -/-/-. As a result of misreporting of this information to credit reporting agencies My credit score has dropped by about - points.
