I recently noticed a collection on my account for the amount of $2900.00 ; I did notice that the initial creditor was a hospital I had been hospitalized -/-/-. I reached out to my insurance ( - - - - UT ) and they said they had not received a claim from this hospital for facility use only from the ER doctor. My insurance company advised that I reach back out to the hospital or the collection agency. I reach out to the collection agency Syndicated Office Systems /Central Financial Control on -/-/- and spoke to a lady named - ( badge # - ) she stated that they had submitted that claim to my insurance. I explained that I had reach out to my insurance and they did not have any record of a claim from them. I asked if I can get the contact number to the hospital so that I can sort this out with them directly. She stated that she could not provide that information to me and advise that I reach back out to my insurance and request more information. Once again I reach back out to my insurance on -/-/- spoke to - at


- ( badge # - ). He went back and forth between us and his supervisor and stated they had submitted a claim. - the insurance representative request to verify the ID number they had on file for me but the collection agency representative said they did not have that information. - explained to him that blue cross did not receive their claim and that it could be a possibility they did not submit the claim correctly or with the wrong information ( such as the ID number or Alpha prefix ). The collection agency representative went back and forth with us and his supervisor and stated that they could not do anything on their end and they can not verify any of my information and refused to confirm where this bill was sent to for claim. My insurance company has confirmed that they did not file claim with any of my insurance information provided to them. I did my due diligence and provided the hospital and the collection agency with my correct insurance information however they refuse to do additional research on it to verify this account is accurately reported. It has now affected my credit report and I would like this to be removed until they can accurately verify this claim was properly submitted to my insurance with my correct information. The collection agency and the hospital were negligent in accurately submitting this claim to my insurance given they had copies of my insurance card and are now refusing to get this resolved. This has not only cause a detrimental effect on my credit but is also causing me an emotional distress.
