TD Bank US Holding Company Credit card department,
I signed up for a Nordstrom card because the store would not give me the sale price unless i had the card. I never received the card but got a phone call in - 2016 to make the payment. I agreed to pay, and provided my - checking account information. I understood that Nordstrom will take the money from the account. But i receive a collection call in - stating that i owed a balance of $ -+ becuase of penalties for non-payment. The agent told me that they had only taken $38.00 payment for - account instead of the the full balance that they previously offered to take over 3 months - each. I offered to pay the balance, but they would not waive any penalties. So now have - % penalties on a small purchase of less than -. I dont understand why Nordsrom can charge the penalties when they have my bank account to withdraw the payment each month. I guess they make more profit by threatening me to report to credit agencies .... which has not ruined by credit too.
