Barclays PLC Credit card department,
- - opened a credit card with Barclay around - - using my personal information. I sent a letter disputing this debt to Barclay on - -. However, Barclay denied my fraudulent application to this credit card. I do n't have possession of this credit card or any information pertaining to this card. They stated that I am responsible for this debt. However, how can I be responsible for this debt when I have no knowledge of the credit card and it 's usage. I have not received statements or a copy of this application as requested. They stated that it is now a family matter because she is a family member. Even though it is a family member, it is still a fraudulent act of - and Barclay for approving such credit card without verifying information. They refuse to do further investigation.
