Wells Fargo & Company Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease New York
- of - Ny offered a special 0 % financing offer to buy furniture through WellsFargo. After initiating the offer and signing the agreement Wellsfargo contacted me by mail informing the agreement signed is not valid after further review. Instead of the signed agreed upon 0 % they will charge me a 28.99 % finance charge. This is against the marketing and the agreement - offered. I am unsure if - was aware of this issue from the onset, the 0 % financing seemed to good to pass up and outside of - normal financing agreements. I seriously doubt this is an isolated incident either. The scheme involved having to spend - amount to obtain the length of time of the agreement and the 0 % financing. Also instead of being a finance loan it is being pawned off or reported as a credit card, not line of credit. A fixed amount and payment will effect my credit report differently then a credit card. This account may substantially effect my debt to credit ratio impacting my credit worthiness. This whole situation is quickly becoming increasingly predatory. I have e-mailed both WellsFargo and - about the issue.
