Wells Fargo & Company Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay New York
In - - I began receving installments invoices from Wells Fargo Dealer Services with varied payments amounts sometimes twice per month, not consistent with my normal monthly payment of $310.00. I did not panic but continued to make payments as stated on the monthly invoice as listed below : - $150.00, - $130.00, - $270.00, - $100.00, - $270.00, - $230.00 and - $180.00 ( my last payment ). To my surprise, in late - I received a letter from WDS stating that my account was charged off and is in collections. Now mind you, I never got a call to inform me ( like most reasonaly business would do ) of this issue over the course of -. So, I called WDS and was told I must pay them $3000.00 plus dollars to bring my account current. They said they are not culpable for any mistakes made, invoice are mailed as a courtesy and I should have continued to pay my installment of $310.00, not what the invoice stated. They concluded that I am 358 days past due despite my payment history listed above and I pretty much brought this on myself, therefore they are not culpable. What casued the problem? In - the began posting another customer payments to my account and still continue to do so. I received an invoice in -, - stating that my balance is $440.00 and a payment of $180.00 is due, which I paid.
