Encore Capital Group Credit card department,
I have been contacted on numerous times by phone and mail concerning an amount of money I allegedly owe. I do not recognize the firm that I allegedly owe this money to. I called last Thursday, - -, 2016 to get information and they asked me to call back today, Monday, - -, 2016, which I did. After being transferred to - different people, they told me they could NY provide information as the account was under review but the would not tell me why. I told the last person I spoke to, a - -, that I wanted to settle the account for $1500.00, which is what I can afford at the time. They asked me to call again. I want this to be over! The firm is Midland Collection. Can you help me?
