Encore Capital Group Credit card department,
I was notified that Midland Funding LLC sued my - -, Case No. -. I called them and they said it was because of a - - that I optained in -. The stated there was a balance due of $2300.00. I do not remember ever having a credit card with -. They said it was sent to Midland Funding in -. I have never gotten a call about this. I never knew about this. Now I have a law suit and nobody can tell me anything about the charges or where they were spent, etc. I have a credit report from -/-/-. I looked through it to see if a card with that name or number was on it. There is no - credit card in that report. There was no delinquent amount due on that report. There were - credit cards in that report that were assigned to my ex-husband upon our divorce. They are - cards with different account numbers then the - Midland gave me. I do n't know what to do. The person I spoke with at Midland told me to contact you, so here I am. The credit card number she gave me was - - - -. Please help me find a way to resolve this.
