In -, I had savings account and - CD 's with CIT Bank ( -. - -, -, MO - ). These accounts were closed in -. I waited and waited for - -. Finally, on - -, -, I called CIT Bank ( CIT ) and discussed this matter with - who told me that all - 's were mailed on - -, and that the - should be coming soon. I waited and waited again, but, no - until - - when I called CIT Bank again and discussed it with - who blamed it on the post office. I then asked - to overnight to which she agreed. I told her that CIT is closed for me and I am not allowed to do business with the bank. I waited again and looked for it every day. On - -, -, I called - again and discussed it with - who gave me the shocking news as follows : A ) The - was mailed on - - and not on - - as promised, and B ) The - was not mailed by overnight mail as
mailed after 4 days by ordinary mail. It should be noted that CIT terminated all my accounts in - and I cut me off from the bank business ( another story that is irrelevant here ). I will submit ( by fax ) the termination letter for your information and action. I had no access to the information on the web site due to termination of my accounts. I had to cancel my appointment with my tax accountant 3 times. I will probably get - around - - or -. I may not be able to file my tax return within the time since I have an overseas trip coming soon that I can not postpone or cancel without losing hundreds of dollars. I will cost me extra money ( $150.00 to - ) to file addendum tax again. I want CIT to pay this cost amounting to $150.00. How can a bank delay - delivery and get away with it is beyond me. CFPB should not tolerate this kind of behavior. CIT has made my life miserable causing extreme frustration, economic loss and loss of my precious time. Their license should be cancelled. They keep on violating - law repeatedly. I am a - American who feels extremely helpless. I just can not take any more abuse. CIT has put me and my wife to tears. Your help will be God sent.
