Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Illinois

I would like to file a dispute with Wells Fargo Auto Finance. Wells Fargo is negatively reporting a debt owned on credit reports that has already been satisfied from a insurance settlement. The debt is invalid which is evidenced by them releasing the lien of my vehicle and giving me the title. I currently live in Illinois which is a title holding state and a title is not released until loan is satisfied. I have reached to all three credit company 's to dispute this issue but was not able to get it resolved because Wells Fargo is stating that the debt is valid.
