Regarding Application : AME- EVERYDAY CREDIT CARD made on -/-/- REF/SSN : - To Whom It May Concern : American Express Executive Department I recently received a prequalifying offer and decided to apply for the Amex Every Credit Card, and unfortunately was denied. I was surprised for the denial as I have a FICO score of - as of today with - % low credit usage, total credit line ( $4900.00 ) no missed payments and no negative history ( - report enclosed ) While it is true that I have limited credit history equal to 6 months overall and 9 months on my oldest card, that is solely as a result of me being a new lawful resident of the US. I have a - degree - in - and I am now a -, -. When I initially applied -/-/- the AME- representative told me that I should wait at least six months until I establish good credit history as a borrower : as I did. Could you please review my credit card application to see if there is a way I can be approved?
