Commonwealth Financial Services contacted me by phone telling me I had by end of day the next day to pay a debt of $2000.00 or they would be sending me a summons for criminal charges. They tole me the additional fees could be upwards of $8000.00 if we ended up in court. I told them to send me something in writing. I received a letter from - - ( - -? Email address was -- ). The letter stated that I had to settle the debt by -/-/- to avoid any further collection proceedings. I received several harassing emails after our initial contact. I looked in my records and saw that this account had been satisfied in full with - - - back on -/-/-. I feel that this was a complete fraud tactic to scam me out of $2000.00.
