Closing/Cancelling account California
I applied for a Credit card with U.S. Bank and was approved for $1000.00. I did not want the card and let them know within 1 hour of receiving it. I ask them to not activate it and to cancel my application. They said they ca n't. This Credit card from U.S. bank will hurt my credit report and score so I did n't want it. I told supervisors with U.S. Bank That I did not want the card but they are forcing it on me. This does n't seem right. I never used the card but they say that it activated and they ca n't cancel it without it being on my credit report as a canceled card. Their own representative told me the card was the wrong credit card for me. Yhey are using my good credit to hold me as hostage to this credit card knowing it will hurt my credit report. So now I 'm - if I do and - if I do n't. If I keep the card it will hurt my credit report and if I tell them to close an account I did n't open it will hurt my credit report. Is n't that what the " Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I have a - credit score and now it will be damaged by U.S.Bank because they are greedy and do n't do the right thing for consumers.
