Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay California
I took a loan from Cash Call in 2013. The amount was $5000.00. I did n't understand the terms of the loan because the transaction occurred within a couple of days. I then lost my job and defaulted about 7 months later. Cash Call made it very difficult because they would not work with me until l could get back to work. The interest is now 119 percent. Now Cash Call is threatening to file a lawsuit and the balance is over $35000.00. Initially the salesman who I spoke with never explained the terms of the loan. Therefore it is my believe that there was despection. When I tried calling him back to let him know I lost my job it was impossible to get him or someone to speak with. The collection department would call about - times a day but used blocked numbers or unrecognized numbers. I spoke with someone in that department who was not willing to work me on a partial payment. My salary was and is still very low, and I am not capable of making payments.
