U.S. Bancorp Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay Kentucky
I contacted the creditor on several occasions and informed them that I am unable to receive personal phone calls during working hours, -. I was contacted repeatedly during these times. I called the creditor yet again to tell them not to contact me during these times and the person said that it did not matter and that they can and would contact me at any time between - and -. I found this to be hostile and intimidating. I closed my account and am trying to pay off my remaining balance. After 40+ phone calls I found that it is impossible to access your account online if you have cancelled you card. I did not receive any statements or bills in the mail. Without online access to my account I could not make timely payments allowing US Bank to add hundreds to my account in late fees. The card and interest rate were predatory in nature. I was given the application in a bar while on - break. I think it is immoral for US Bank to target intoxicated teens on - break with high interest credit cards. I do n't expect the CFPB to do anything about it but I want people to know the type of business US Bank is.
