Synchrony Bank took over - of my credit cards. Those accounts are Sam 's Club Credit, Lowe 's Credit, BP - Credit, and TJ- Credit. Their actions on all accounts are similar. They refuse to send my copy of the bill electronically to my bank as - for example did previously. They will only send it to me, however, they are not very good at doing that. Consistently, they fail to send me a monthly bill and then charge a late charge and interest. They claim to have sent the bill but provide no documentation trying instead to send me on a wild goose - looking in the spam trap. They refuse to eliminate the late charges after the first but always charge interest, and they post against my credit record. They then call with threatening collection actions and even put - card " on hold '' four days after the end of a billing period - with a purpose of getting me to let them draft a minimum payment from my bank. I tell them that that will never happen and they do not like that response. I have no outstanding credit card debt and pay no credit card interest by design. I should not have to go through their clunky websites to get my bill on a monthly basis particularly since some of the accounts are not used on a monthly basis. I judge that it is no longer safe to have bills sent through the - mail. Either this bank does not have the technology or chooses not to use the technology that we as consumers are accustomed to having available ; or perhaps this is simply their ploy to increase the revenue stream by creating late fees and charges.
