I opened a - account and when I tried to use it I discovered it was closed! The culprit : Early Warning Systems ( EWS ), the banking industry 's own credit reporting agency. I requested and receive " my '' credit report from them and discovered not only - or - bogus accounts BUT there is no way to contact these banks on these accounts directly. FISHY? Of course! All of these were posted under my social but are all/almost all belonging to - different people. The only way to clear my erroneous record is to submit to EWS a detailed letter on each of the individual accounts. - all provide the creditors contact info. EWS refuses to reveal these details. Surely this is to protect their own fraudulent practices. My bank record is CLEAN yet I will never have a - account.
