Amex Credit card department,
-/-/2015 I applied for an American Express Charge card as well as a credit card. I received both. I was making payments on time and never fell behind. In -/-/-/-/-/2015 I was having difficulties paying the balance on the Charge card as I was in the middle of closing my store and trying to re-open in a new location. I had called to make payment arrangements and was able to meet them and if not I had called in to let them know that I would be making the payment on a particular day. -/-/2015 I had an arrangement to pay the balance of around - to make my card current. I had made the payment and called in to see if it was received. I then was told I had to call an agency as it was transferred to them. I called the agency to find out what was going on as I did n't understand why as I never got a phone call or letter. The payment was received within a day or two of them transferring my account to cancellation and this agency. I now have a closed by credit grantor on my account. I tried calling AME- to talk to someone about this and no one would help. My other card that is current and had no lates is now being closed and going to an agency.
