Improper use of my credit report Report improperly shared by CRC California

I saw an inquiry on my - credit report from CASH CENTRAL. I have never done business with this company in any way. I call to find out about how the inquiry was initiated, and they said that they received information from 3rd party providers that collect credit information, and based on that they initiate hard inquiries to offer credit. As I understand it, this is illegal, either by CASH CENTRAL initiating an inquiry without my consent, or by the so called " 3rd party '' that submitted the information to them. Of course, when I contacted CASH CENTRAL they were unwilling to provide any details about their procedures or who this 3rd part might be. All I can say is that I did not initiate a credit inquiry and one either CASH CENTRAL or the other party involved must be doing something illegal by requesting credit in my name.
