Incorrect information on credit report Account terms Nevada

My husband and I pulled our Credit on -, and unfortunately came across an account that has been Reporting every month the past 2 YEARS, stating we have n't paid when in fact we Paid In Full, With Cash 2 Months after the Creditor Reported it. I went to the Original Creditor -, Spoke with the Manager, showed her my Paid Off Receipt from -, Showed her the picture I took of My Credit Report and gave her the Collections Name : Collections Services Of Nevada & Number. She then went behind a desk for a brief moment. Came back and said she left a message but no one answered and it would n't be until Monday that We hear anything. I then left, and immediately called as I got in our car ( Hubby was driving ). I got right through to the Legal Department and Spoke with - from Collection Services Of Nevada. After explaining our situation, she got ahold of - who was the Representative on our account who was going to put in the - for it to be deleted from - of our Credit Reports. - then told me that someone just called while we


to City of -, Spoke with the - and requested ALL our payment history from the past years and that I was well aware she JUST NOW REPORTED that we paid it off. I asked her several times why she lied to me and pushed me out the door. After printing all my requested information, she apologized and got teary eyed. Now I was n't looking to make this lady cry, I simply want answers as to why this was n't handled property or CORRECT 2 years ago!! I was told by - from Collection Services Of Nevada that this will be handled BUT given the prior history, I DO NOT feel comfortable and need this handled as this was not right!!! Not only have we had a current Power & Electric Bill with the Creditors - the past 2 years because we have to, it 's hpw our lil town has Electricity, but come to find out they NEVER reported is paying it off the past 2 years! When we messed up we had to pay them E-TRA money to get power back in our name, so what happenedS when the Original Creditor Messes up OR the Collection Agency??? We just want answers please aND Thank You! Sincerly, - and - - -
