- The company got this debt from -. I asked a for copy of the original bill from - and was told that I would recieve it in 6-7 weeks because it was in a storage warehouse somewhere. That was - - - and today is - - - and I called to ask why I never recieved anything. I was told that it was sent to the wrong address, however she had my current address and saw notes from the - - conversation when I confirmed that they had the correct address. - this debt is from - from an account that the time I disconnected due to moving. I gave - a forwarding address to send a box for me to send back the equipment however I never recieved that box until - of -. I sent back the equipment and recieved - refund checks for overpayment. And in a statement I recieved from - on - - - I recieved a " Revised Final Bill '' and amount due was $.00. That same statement shows - of the refunds. So this debt they 're trying to collect which - itself told me didnt exist was already taken care of before being reported to the current collection agency. This account charged off in - and was reopened in -. My credit score has severely suffered and affected my ability to buy a home and recieve a good interest rate on anything else. I have original document from - and even have the original order number show what services I ordered. The only excuse the collector gave me is saying that I had - accounts with - indicating that i had separate services when my original purchase order and ALL documentation I have shows " - Triple Play '' and only - account number which does n't match the - on the collection notice.
