I signed up for a no annual fee credit card through Bank of America with a 0.00 % introductory APR for 12 months. However, I am being charged a $1.00 " Minimum Interest Charge '' on my statement every month. I called customer service the first time I noticed it, and they promised to remove the charge, but this has continued to happen every month since. " Minimum Interest Charge '' is described in their credit card agreement as, " If the total of the interest charges for all balances is less than $1.00, then a Minimum Interest Charge of $1.00 will be assessed on the account. This fee is in lieu of any interest charge. '' I have accrued $0.00 interest thus far due to my promotional APR rate of 0.00 %, and $0.00 interest should not fall under this definition of Minimum Interest Charge.
