Closing/Cancelling account North Carolina
Elan Financial Services, offered a card through my bank - - in NC and closed it for non payment, with no notice. In addition, no invoices were sent and I was unaware there was a balance on my account. Clearly this is going to impact my credit rating. I used the card and then stopped usage of the card due to fees, and did n't use that card for many months ( around 9 months ). When I called about a question related to points, the firm informed me they closed my account for non payment, with no written info or calls. I validated that Elan Financial Services had my correct mailing and phone number on file and did nothing to contact me to inform me of any issue where by we could have resolved it.
