I recently reached out to AME- customer service team on several occasions to request that the Pre-set limit be removed from my accounts ending in - & - and have received constant excuses and runarounds with no results. AME- has displayed and exhibited discriminatory practices when it relates to setting or removing Pre-Set Spending Limits on Charge Cards which would not normally have a Pre-set Spending Limit. For instance, when my Gold Premium account was originally opened -/-/- there was not pre-set limit upon approval and receiving the charge cards. However, when - of your teams saw my assigned and approved authorized user and manager of my account utilizing the card, they immediately blocked the card and requested that bank statements to be sent in solely because they saw activity from the authorized user. Then subsequently, placed a spending limit of - on the account. Also, we were specifically told by the " Responsible lending Team that the Pre-set spending limit would be removed after the income level increases. In turn, recently, we submitted the bank statement by which the account is paid, as from the beginning to reflect the new level of income which is significantly higher from -/-/-.


was it just to obtain the $450.00 annual fee. I submitted the bank statements and subsequently, I was told there would now be a pre-set limit based on deposits going into the account. Since then, the income level has changed, updated my account income information on-line, and have reached out on various times to have this pre-set limit removed from my account. AME- also has a habit of assigning calls to Green-card carriers and/ international reps relating to this area as well to block hard-working minority - Americans from receiving fair and reasonable credit which is also discriminatory in nature. It is an outrage on how they allow their pre-set limit to be ran, as I now can not get pass this barrier either. I am constantly being told lies each and every time I call. I was put on-hold over 20 times and told different numbers to call with no results. Also, as the Manager of all aspects of the account including the request to remove the pre-set limit or increase the credit limit and they continually state they need to talk to the primary card holder, but he has attempted to call as well and still no results. What is the problem. Why is it an issue when an - - has produced the pertinent documents, paid the account, and shown the income level is sufficient to remove the spending limit. This type of practice and behavior is not displayed towards others in the majority class. Also, when I reached out to the executive offices, they were no help either and could not provide concrete reasons as to why and again I told them they were too exhibiting discriminatory practices because they refused to go back and review the initial talks had with the spending limit department who treated the account in a biased manner from the beginning. There should have been no pre-set limit and it should have been lifted as they claimed when we spoke back -/-/- regarding how to have it removed based on income-level. These were all lies. There should be an investigation into how these illegal practices in AME- is on a rampage against many U.S. - Americans and other miniorities.
