Bank of America Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Taking out the loan or lease California
I have been a customer of Bank of America for over 15 years with a credit card. I have always paid the monthly fees and my FICO score is in the -. I NEVER asked for a credit increase, but instead of sending me credit cards, B of A keep sending me odd letters saying that there is a problem with an " restricted access notation '' on my consumer credit file. '' This is bogus - a lie. I called B of A several times, including a talk with - on -/-/2015 at - with the credit dept there. She said that there was a problem with my address, which they had it all along- NOTHING to do with my consumer credit file. She apologized and said that the cards were going to be released. Today, -/-/2015, instead of getting the cards, I get another bogus letter from BofA dated - -, 2015, mentioning the restricted notation (? ) again. I tried calling the credit dept. today, but it was closed. I talked
I want to know why I 'm being harassed like this. This is scary. The credit cards expired in - 2015 and I received new cards. However, next I received a letter saying that an " Unkown '' business has been compromised, and that I was going to get new cards. Then I got another letter saying that B of A will be sending me new cards with chips. I noticed a transaction that I did n't recognized online, I contacted the bank and was told to cut the cards and that other ones would be sent out. These never arrived. I contacted B of A again and was told that the cards were NOT to be cut out and replacements would be sent to me. However, because now I 'm caught in this credit request I never made, I never receive any cards. The situation is insane, and I do n't appreciate people playing with my credit and credit history like this. I do n't like that B of A is telling me in writing to contact the credit bureaus, when the problem is their internal mess. This is not right.
