I received a letter from Performant Recovery Inc. stating they were a private collection firm contracted by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, - - - to collect a delinquent balance owed to Dept of Health Human Services for $1300.00. I have received no prior communication from any government agency that I owed this money and after several requests for details from this company no information is provided.
