Credit card Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Ohio

As I viewed my credit report, I noticed an unknown credit card account that does not belong to me. So I called the credit card company to clarify the situation and to resolve the issue. The company could not find any record of me having an account with them, however, they continue to lodge a negative item on my - report.
