I applied for a secured credit card in - of last year. I paid - to get it. They declined the credit card based on a bankruptcy over a year old and on debts due to child support. I have outstanding debts for child support due to the fact that I was pregnant and could not find a job and - county expected me to pay. I am going back to court on it and I have faithfully paid the child support even though I did not see my children for a year. The debt was being paid and the bankruptcy was a year old. They should not have denied me credit when it was a secured card. The only reason for the bankruptcy was my ex-husband ruining my credit by causing a prohus-perty I had for 16 years to go into foreclosure by not paying for it or putting it in his name like the court ordered. Because of this I was unable to refinance my house, given me in court and I lost it, too. I had perfect credit not seven years ago I paid an extra month 's payment on my mortgage and now I am being discriminated against. My ex husband is on probation for threatening to kill me while I have a restraining order against him. These credit problems were not my doing. I thought you could not discriminate in the State of Colorado due to domestic violence. I received the - back, but I want this removed from my credit and I want a secured loan because I am responsible and have sacrificed to make sure that child support is paid. It will be removed anyway because - of my children have left their father to live with me. They are tired of the unjust court system and tired of being beaten. Please help me.
