I was using - - as my provider. At a point the recorder in my home would fill with unrequested shows preventing me from recording what I wanted to record. I called - - they sent out a - and he worked for 3 hours and finally replaced the recorder. In about 3 days the new recorder did the same thing. I contacted - - and they said it was a software problem they would not come out and could not give an estimate on when it would be corrected. I told them if they could not supply the service I contracted from them, I would have their service replaced. I then got - -. After talking to - - again they sent me a refund for the partial month not used and said they would close the account. Several months later they started to attempt to collect $230.00 from me. I sent them - letters explaining they had previously sent me a refund and that they agreed they were not meeting the previous agreement. I told them if they wanted to collect the debt to please file a suit. Lately they have turned the account over to AFNI for collection. I wrote AFNI giving the same facts and asking for a suit be placed against me. AFNI has now placed this debt on my credit report with a very negative effect. I am requesting they either file a suit or remove the debt. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
