Arvest Bank charged me a $10.00 late fee when I was only under $6.00 on my payment and it was actually not late. It was received well before the due date of the - of -. I have since been unable to reach any representative to get the $10.00 fee waived. I have been put on hold multiple times for over - minutes each time in an attempt to reach a specific person who might be able to waive the fee but it was never promised that it would be waived. The reason I bring it up is because there have been - separate occasions where representatives stated that since I paid ahead by several months ( I pay $200.00 a month when my payment is $160.00 per month ) I could pay whatever I wanted even if it was under the monthly payment of $160.00 and I feel that the bank representatives have misrepresented the information to me as a consumer.
