Medical Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received Florida
Choice Recovery has been calling me about a debt that I did not know about last - -, 2015. I just recently found out, since checking my credit report that they have reported my debt that was actually from a dental bill that I thought was already taken care of as I was in and out of the dental office about at least - times this year for my cleaning. I was always told that I did not have any outstanding balances. I know I have the right to get a letter about my outstanding balances and I never got one. I also know that 5 days after the collection company contacts you, they should also send out a letter about the debt they are trying to collect and from whom. I never got this. If it was not for me checking my credit report, I would have never knew about this debt. In conclusion, I am complaining about the unfair practices of Choice Recovery and the fact that they never sent me any other notice ( written letter ) besides leaving a very unclear message that they are a debt collector but never saying who they are calling for.
