Payday loan Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received Louisiana
I received a call from someone named - claiming to be from Glass Mountain Capital. He refused to provide his last name or the company 's address. He put me on hold saying he was going to transfer me to his supervisor. The line was then answered by - -. He provided their address of - - -, -, IL -. He asked if I still resided as an address on - - - in - - ( I can not recall the exact address information he gave me ). I stated that that was an extremely old address that I had n't lived at in a very long time. I provided my current address and requested that they send me validation of the debt. He stated that letters had already gone out, and that he would send one to my new address. I asked him how soon I could expect the letter, and he refused to provide an estimate on how long it would take to be sent out. I told him that I would give them seven days to provide validation of the debt or else I would file a report with the CFPB. It has been seven days, and I have not received anything from this company.
