I have disputed with credit reporting company, but have not yet received a response. Financial Credit Network has reported on my credit report for a debt that I paid directly to the creditor. I had never heard of this company and when I saw this on my credit report I told them I paid the creditor directly and never heard from them. They claim to have sent me information ( to a wrong address ) and call me ( they did n't have my phone number correct either ). After I told them I was going to dispute and file complaints, I received a call a few hours later from them stating they could n't find my file on the credit report. I had to provide the woman with more information before she could find it. They refuse to remove themselves from my credit report even though 1 ) I have never owed them anything and 2 ) the debt they claim to have collected was paid directly to the creditor before ever hearing form Financial Credit Network. The only reason I heard from them was to call them to because they are tarnishing my credit report that I have been working diligently to keep clean and rebuild.
