Kohn Law Firm S.C. Debt collection department,
Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Wisconsin
Kohn Law Firm, S.C. ( - - - ) called my place of work asking to speak with me or my wife. When I spoke with them on the phone, they insisted that they needed my social security number and birth date before they could tell me anything. That sounded like a scam so I did n't provide the information. Now they have sent at least - letters to my place of work trying to garnish my wages. The letters make clear that I am not even the person they are looking for ( different middle name and different social security number ). So they are trying to collect a debt I do n't owe, have improperly contacted a third party ( my employer and me in regard to the person whose debt it actually is ), improperly sharing the social security number.
