I received an email from the payroll department at where I work and they told me : - - - - - Forwarded message - - - - - From : - - : Tuesday, -/-/2015Subject : Request to speak with the payroll department about an employeeTo : - -, Got a call for you from the below company. They were trying to get funds garnished from your wages with the firm. I told them you were a - and they said they will do a Release in Doubt. Not sure what the heck this is but thought you should know. - -Trans World Systems ( debt collector ) Ref # - have no knowledge of a debt to Trans World Systems. They threatened to do a wage garnishment when they have not sued me nor do they have a judgment. This is illegal, deceptive and contacting 3rd parties about some debt and claiming that they will do a wage garnishment is completely illegal They need to be investigated.
