Amex Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account Massachusetts
American Express cancelled my account after having it open for almost 1 years with flawless operation and funding on my part, I made - ach transfers from my bank, and after the - - failed for - on - -, I contacted the bank to advise them that the - - for - would fail, I asked them to cancel the transcation knowing that it would fail and they said they would not or could not. The transaction failed because of a mistaken hold my other bank had on my saving account that restricted both incoming deposits and ACH debits, I was not notified of this hold by my other bank - want the account to be reactivated and all my records and bill pay history to be made available to me. American Express and their offshore call center tell me all the info is never accesable to me again because this is or was an online Account '' I want my account reopened I have all my direct deposits paychecks ( - ) being deposited directly and this will cause my money which I will have received this week to be blocked. I did nothing wrong other than a mistake and advised them right away and was assured that my account was in good standing and that I had handled it properly in light of the circumstances. - - -
