I contacted quickenloans about getting pre-qualified for an FHA Mortgage. The agent pulled my credit reports and said that while my credit score qualified me for a loan, they could not proceed because I have disputes on my credit report. It is my understanding that under CFPB regulations, credit can not be denied for exercising in good faith a right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act ( such as disputing information in your credit report ). ''
