I submitted a 30 day notice for moving out of an apartment. The office manager claimed I did not and tried to charge me another months rent and expenses. I submitted a written 30 day notice with my rent check as I was told to do. I verbally told them about 30 day notice, as well. The rent check was cashed, so I assume they got the written notice, too. I had the apartment professionally cleaned upon departure ( much, much cleaner than when I moved into the apartment ), I was completely out of the apartment days before the 30 days were up.
