Last month this company received a check along with a letter from me to pay off a $77.00 debt the had reported on my credit report. The letter specifically stated that they were to only cash the check if they would go on to delete the account from the credit report and if this was not acceptable to them they were to send me the check back. ( see attached copy of letter ) In addition, I had also write on the the check 's note section cash only if you will delete account from credit report '' ( see attached copy of check ) The company violated the implied agreement and cashed my check and failed to delete the account on my credit report.
