more than 2 years ago, I ordered a phone - on-line, while the phone was said to be out of stock online after I had placed the order I called an agent and asked them to cancel the order, the next day not only did I receive - phone, but -. I rejected the receipt - and sent it back to -, what was I to do with - phones? Since this was a very high end phone, it required a high end data plan. which I got. On a monthly basis I kept getting billed for - additional lines ; 1 ) for the phone I kept 2 ) for the phone I sent back. I called - about this and they said that they had not received the second phone yet but that I should check back. A few billing cycles had happened and I kept paying it. My account then had gone to collections as I refused to pay the excess fees because I only had - phone, their records did n't show any calls coming in to the second line they were charging me for. My account was sold to the collection agency called Diversified Consultants


several times to attempt to settle this, even though they say the conversations are recorded for quality, they have still not been able to produce -. They agreed to take - payments from my account totaling $450.00 to clear this debt up and to send them a letter. This was back in - 2014. Recently I ran my credit report to see if I could qualify to get a home loan, and this thing pops back up in my credit, but now the account has been sold to - - and there is still a balance of $800.00. I called - - and explained my situation and they were unable to help me as they said I needed to get a receipt of payment from Diversified Consultants. I called Diversified and they are not stating that all I paid was the fees I felt I owed and not what was really due, that I had to dispute the rest of the amount -, I asked them what about the letter I sent them, they said that they did not receive it. I have moved and can not locate the blasted letter but I know I sent it. I 've tried to get a hold of them, they are not helpful. I spoke with someone who actually wanted to help and said they would send me a letter confirming the amount they had received. I received the letter a week late stating that I still owed THEM - $800.00. I received the letter by email, attempted replying to it and the email bounced back. I also attempted calling and only go routed around and eventually dropped. I need this removed from my credit report, it was a mistake on - behalf not mine.
