- - - - never sent me a bill for a ER visit that occurred on -. Yesterday, out of the blue, I received a letter from Americollect for $78.00 that went to collections from -. Yesterday, immediately after receiving a collections notice, I faxed and emailed both Americollect and - - - - requesting for debt validation. I have also filed a complaint with the - and the Louisiana General Attorney for - practices. Today, at -, I received a phone call and voicemail from Americollect . I know that it is illegal for collections agencies to call outside certain hours. Furthermore, I have already contacted them in writing, both by email and fax, that I would like debt validation and also notified them that I am in the process of filing a complaint against the original creditor.
