Bank of America Student loan department,
Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan California
I have needed to take out over $150000.00 in student loans to complete my graduate education -. I now work - and am not making ends meet because of the high cost of my loans. I fear I will never be able to afford a family. All of my loans, including government loans, are between 6 % and 8.5 %. How can banks charge such high rates when a person could buy a $50000.00 car for almost no interest? I imagine they are following the rules '', but what kind of society allows institutions to make money off the backs of young people who contribute significantly to the health of its population? Is there anything to be done? - - -, PA
